Thank you Ewa,
Re the new driveway at 20 Portuguese Rd., Caballeros'
concern is that the pavement surface is roughened at the
trail crossing. It is likely that the driveway plans include this
specification. Should that not be the case, We would
appreciate the Commission making this standard spec. a
condition of approval.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dyer,
At its meeting of May 22, 2014, the Rolling Hills Traffic Commission considered your
application for a new driveway approach at 20 Portuguese Bend Road. Following
discussion, the Traffic Commission continued the discussion to their next regular meeting
due to concerns regarding sight visibility and traffic safety caused by excessive vegetation
in the easement near the proposed driveway approach. The Traffic Commission continued
consideration of your request to its next meeting which is scheduled to be held on
Thursday, July 24, 2014, to allow you time to address the concerns regarding visibility.
It is recommended that you contact the Rolling Hills Community Association regarding
the vegetation in the easement.
Please contact me by July 8, 2014 to confirm that the concerns regarding the vegetation in
the vicinity of the proposed driveway approach have been addressed. The proposed
driveway apron must continue to be staked to adequately illustrate its location and size.
The staking should be maintained through the Traffic Commission's next meeting in case a
field trip is desired and thereafter until the City Council hears the application.
If you have any questions in regard to the review process, please do not hesitate to call me
at 310-377-1521.
