The Commissioners did remark that they would look more favorably on a request for a Variance to permit the Satellite Antenna in the side yard setback beyond the 10 foot easement near the pool equipment if the area is screened. You may call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any questions and I will be happy to provide you with all required application forms. Sincerely, LOLA M. UNGAR PRINCIPAL PLANNER • City 0/ie0ti Jh/'/, October 11, 1991 Mr. Samuel Salmon 74 Eastfield Drive Rolling Hills, CA 90274 Dear Dr. Salmon: INCORPORATED JANUARY 24, 1957 NO. 2 PORTUGUESE BEND ROAD ROLLING HILLS. CALIF. 90274 (213) 377-1521 FAX (213) 377-7288 Forgive our delay in attending to your application for the siting of a satellite antenna. At the present time, we cannot schedule the item for the Planning Commission's field trip because the location of the antenna on the drawing submitted does not seem to comply with Section 17.16.011.E.1 of the Rolling Hills Municipal Code which states that the satellite antenna shall not be located in any required front yard or setback area. The setbacks at your property are as follows: Front yard - 50 feet from the front easement line, side yards - 20 feet from the property line, and rear yard - 50 feet from the property line. When you provide us with a new scaled drawing (use graph paper), showing the location of the satellite antenna beyond the setbacks indicated, then we can schedule the item for the next Planning Commission field trip. We will notify you when the field trip will take place, though they are usually the first Saturday morning of the month. Feel free to call me if you have any questions regarding this matter. Sincerely, PRINCIPAL PLANNER
