Dear Teena:
Thank you and the Planning Commission for a
relatively prompt review and approval of the
reinstatement of my Conditional Use Permit for the
tennis court.
I assure you that the fence height will not exceed
8' from the tennis court elevation and that the
landscaping and irrigation system will be done
per the approval by the Landscaping Committee and
to the satisfaction of the staff. Shortly, I
will obtain a bid for landscaping and irrigation
in separate amounts which will allow us to make
a determination as to the dollar significance
of 15%.
When I have these plans, I will be in contact
with either you or June Cunningham to make the
deposit and secure the permit.
Sincerely,
E. 'Keith Slingsby

Dear Mr. Slingsby,
At their meeting on Tuesday, March 20, 1979 the Planning
Commission approved your request for a conditional use
permit for construction of a tennis court, subject to the
following conditions:
1. Fence not to exceed 8 feet in height
2. Landscaping and irrigation to be done to the satisfaction
of the staff, with appropriate deposit + 15% inflaction,
to guarantee completion as required
To accomplish the above, kindly submit separate estimates
for the landscaping, as previously approved by the Landscape
Committee, also an estimate for an approved irrigation system
for the tennis court, with a bond or cash deposit + 15% as a
condition of obtaining the necessary permit for the tennis
court. The deposit for the irrigation system will be released
after the work has been completed and inspected. The funds for
landscaping will be held for a period of two years after com-
pletion and approval of planting, in order to guarantee growth
and screening as required.
If you wish to discuss depositing cash in an interest bearing
savings account for the above purpose, please call me or June
Cunningham and we will explain the procedure. If you have any
questions about any of the conditions of approval, please do\
not heaitate to call.
Very truly yours,
Teena Clifton
