The project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The Planning Commission held two public hearings in this case and visited the site on
June 17, 2012. At the June 17, 2012 regular meeting of the Planning Commission the
applicants requested a greater encroachment into the front yard setback than
previously proposed.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public
hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in

The Planning commission schedule is to visit two other properties beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on May 15, 2012 at
which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation of the proposal. The purpose of
the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning Commission and interested parties
with the location, topography, size and extent of the project.
