Dear Dr. and Mrs. Lugliani:
This letter is to serve as official notice pursuant to Section
17.32.090 of the Rolling Hills Municipal Code that a Variance for
front setback requirements for a garage was approved by the City
Planning Commission on August 23, 1983 for your property at 3 Quail
Ridge Road North. A formal report of the Planning Commission as
required by Section 17.32.086 of the Municipal Code is contained
within the minutes of the proceedings before the Commission, a
copy of which is attached.
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills reviewed the
action of the Planning Commission on Monday, September 12, 1983,
pursuant to Section 17.32.140 of the Municipal Code. Since no
action was taken regarding the Variance, the decision of the
Planning Commission has been ratified by the City Council. The
project as outlined on Exhibit"A" of Zoning Case No. 286 is
approved, with the door openings to be to the southeast side of
the new garage structure, with no new driveway approach, and subject
further to removal of a partialy constructed wing at the rear of the
property and restoration of the land to original contours.

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Lugliani:
This letter is to serve as official notice, pursuant to Section
17.32.090 of the Rolling Hills Municipal Code, that a Variance for
front setback requirements has been approved by the City Planning
Commission for your. property at 3 Quail Ridge Road North. On Aug-
ust 23, 1983 the Planning Commissionapproved the front setback de-
viation for a residential garage at 3 Quail Ridge Road North, to
encroach approximately 15.feet into the required 50 foot front set-
back, with the garage door opening located on the southeast side of
the structure, and the proposed new driveway eliminated.
This notice shall serve as a copy of the decision of the Plan-
ning Commission. A formal report of the Planning Commission's action
as required by Section 17.32.086 of the Municipal Code is contained
in the minutes of the proceedings before the Commission.
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills will be reviewing
the action of the Planning Commission on Monday, September 12, 1983,
pursuant to Section 17.32.140 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Rolling Hills to determine whether the action of the Planning Com-
mission should be appealed by the City Council.
