NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission public hearing scheduled
for Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the matter of STORM HILL LANE
application for a lot line adjustment and construction of a road, in Zoning Case No. 949
and 950 is being postponed to the next regular Planning Commission meeting scheduled
on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the Council
Chambers at City Hall, at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
ZONING CASE NO. 949 and 950.
ZC No. 949- Request for a Certificate of Compliance for Lot Line Adjustment between
four parcels of land located along Storm Hill Lane, Rolling Hills, CA, and having
Assessors Parcel Numbers (APN) 7570-024-014, 7570-024-015, 7570-024-016 and 7570-
024-017 created by Parcel Map No. 26356.
AND
ZC No. 950- Request for a Site Plan Review for grading to construct a road to access the
vacant parcels. Other than the private road, no new development is proposed with this
application. (Storm Properties, Inc.)
ZC No. 949 - Lot Line Adjustment has been determined to be exempt from the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA), Article 19 Section
15305, Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations.
ZC No. 950 -Pursuant to the authority and criteria contained in the CEQA, an Initial
Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration evaluating potential environmental impacts has
been prepared and is being evaluated by the City. The findings, interested
parties/agencies comments and conclusions of the Study will be available at the
Planning Commission meeting on October 15, 2019.
MUNICIPAL CODE APPLICATIONS: City of Rolling Hills Subdivision Ordinance -
Title 16, and State of California Subdivision Map Act; Chapter-17.46 Site Plan Review.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public
hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing
to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and address the
Planning Commission on this project.

NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP - PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission scheduled a site visit on
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2018 at approximately 8:00-8:15 a.m. to view
depiction/delineation of proposed projects located at Storm Hill Lane (corner Johns Canyon
Road), Rolling Hills in the following zoning cases:
ZONING CASE NO. 949 and 950.
ZC NO. 949- Request for a Certificate of Compliance for Lot Line Adjustment between
four parcels of land located along Storm Hill Lane, Rolling Hills, CA, and having
Assessors Parcel Numbers (APN) 7570-024-014, 7570-024-015 and 7570-024-016, created by
Parcel Map No. 26356. (Storm Properties). The project has been determined to be
categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA).
ZC NO. 950- Request for a Site Plan Review for grading to construct a road to access the
vacant parcels. (Storm Properties). An Environmental review for the construction of the
road is being undertaken concurrently and no decision will be made regarding the road
prior to environmental determination.
No new development is proposed with this application.
MUNICIPAL CODE APPLICATIONS: City of Rolling Hills Subdivision Ordinance -Title 16, and
State of California Subdivision Map Act; and Chapter-17.46 Site Plan Review.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on October 23, 2018 at
which time the Commissioners heard detailed presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the
field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning Commission and interested parties with
the location, topography, size and extent of the project.
Any person is welcome to review the subject applications and plans prior to the site visit at the
City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills. We
welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning Department

a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the City Hall Administration
Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA, for the purpose of receiving public input
regarding the following:

ZC No. 950- Request for a Site Plan Review for grading to construct a road to access the vacant
parcels. The construction of the road was a condition of approval of the subdivision. Other than
the private road, no new development is proposed with this application.
The project proponent is Storm Properties Inc.
ZC No. 949 - Lot Line Adjustment has been determined to be exempt from the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA), Article 19 Section 15305, Minor Alterations in
Land Use Limitations.
ZC No. 950 - the Environmental review pursuant to CEQA was conducted during the
subdivision process in 2000 and a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) was adopted by the
City Council. The findings and conclusions of the MND are still relevant, applicable and in full
force and effect for this project.
