The PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on TUESDAY, AUGUST 18, 2009, at 6:00 PM, to view a proposed
project at 12 SADDLEBACK ROAD in the following zoning case:
A. ZONING CASE NO. 771. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Miller, 12 Saddleback
Road, (Lot 17-RH). Request for a Variance to exceed the structural net lot
coverage and a Variance from the requirement to set aside an area for a
future stable and corral in order to construct an addition on a lot
developed with a single family residence. Project has been determined to
be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on July
21, 2009, at which time the Planning Commission heard a detailed presentation
of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Commissioners
and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the
proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Cormnission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, which will be held on the same night as the field trip, Tuesday, August
18, 2009, beginning at 6:30 van. in the City Hall Council Chambers
