PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills will hold a
Public Hearing at approximately 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the site at 11
Saddleback Road, Rolling Hills, CA for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following
Zoning Case:
ZONING CASE NO. 937, Request for Variances to construct a new retaining wall with a
height up to 4 % feet located within a setback area, and permit an as -build portion of a
riding arena in the front yard setback. The request is related to two previous zoning cases
on the site and will allow for completion of those approved projects. The subject property
is 11 Saddleback Road (Lot 48-1-RH 48-2-RH) Rolling Hills, CA, (Warren).
The project has been determined to be categorically exempt (Class 3) pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15303.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Variances Chapter 17.38
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the 'public hearing at the
City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome
your input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the
meeting or come to the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in
written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearings.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular meeting,
scheduled on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, beginning at 6:30 n.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
