Slocum Lots 1.3 & 14, Southfield. Tract ZONING CASE #77 FINDINGS AND FORMAL REPORT The application of Mr. Richard W. Slocum, Lots.1.3-14, South- field Tract, for a front yard variance came on for hearing on the 16th day of July, 1.968 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. at the Administration Building of the. City of Rolling Hills, California, and the applicant having submitted. evidence in support of his application, the Planning Commission, being advised, now makes its Findings and Formal Report as required, by the Ordinances of the City of Rolling Hills, California. Ia The. Commission finds that the applicant, Mr.Rich.ar.d W. Slocum is the owner of that certain real property described as Lots 1.3 and 14 Southfield. Tract, and that the real property consisting of two lots has only one building site on the same, as stated. by William K,inl.ey, City Attorney in his Letter. dated August 13, 1968, in. which he referred to the second page of the original deed from Palos Verdes Corporation; and that notice of the public hearing in connection with. said appli- cation was given. as required, by Sections 8.06 and 8.07 of Ordinance No . 33 of the City of Rolling Hills, California. The Coiinnission. further' finds that no person appeared at said public hearing in. opposition to the application for a variance, and that no evidence was received. by th.e Commission. in. opposition. thereto. The Comumissionfurther finds that the swimming pool of th.e residence of the applicant is to be located in. the front yard as defined in.Sec.tion 3.06 of Ordinance No. 33, and further finds that by reason, of the. terrain of said Lots 13 and 1.4, Southfield Tract, the variance should be granted, to applicant in or..der to preserve • • substantialproperty rights possessed by other property in th.esame vicinity and zone, and t.h.atthe granting of suchvar.ianc.ewillnot be materially detri.mentalto the public we.l.far.eor injurious t.o property in the same vicinity and. zone. 1.V .
