Gentlemen:
Thank 'youfor your letter..:of March" 23,- .1961
concerning the location of my residence: on lot 7,:Southfield,
5 Ringbit Road''West.
I therefore applyfor a variance from Zoning
Ordinance No. 33 to permit reduction of the front yard
from thirty (30) feet to ten (10) feet.
The fact is that the house was approved in its
present location both by the Rolling Hills Community Assoc-
iation and the City of Rolling Hills.
However, the existing location is not detrimental
to myneighbors' interest nor does it adversely affect.
the character of the communit y. .
I. enclose„ or will ,send two .copies of .the plot
-plan for. consideration by the Planning Commission

Dear Mr. Lawrence,
When the City Building Permit was issued for
your residence on lot 7, Southfield, at
5 Ringbit Road West in Rolling Hills, the City
Building Department erred because there was
insufficient front yard.
As this error must be corrected, you are
requested to file an application for a variance
to the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construct-
ion which has been made.
The City Council, by resolution, has waived the
fee for filing application for a variance in
this case.
Please call at the City Hall to make the. appli-
cation where the City Clerk will advise on the
necessary procedure.
Very truly yours,
G. B. •Myers
