NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Rolling Hills will hold a Public Hearing at approximately 8:00 AM on Tuesday,
September 20, 2016 at the site at 3 Poppy Trail, Rolling Hills, CA for the
purpose of receiving public input regarding the following Zoning Case:
ZONING CASE NO. 911. Request for a Site Plan Review to legalize a 140 square
foot addition and to construct a 540 square feet of attached covered porch to main
residence and a Variance for a portion of the proposed covered porch to be
located in the front yard setback at 3 Poppy Trail (Lot 8-PT) Rolling Hills, CA,
(Jonas). The project has been determined to be categorically exempt (Class 3)
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section
15303.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review
Chapter 17.46 and Variance - Chapter 17.38.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to
the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at
their regular meeting, scheduled on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 beginning at
6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling
Hills, CA.
