Those maps were updated in 1982, and do not 'include the most recent subdivision and lot line adjustment cases, or new and/or extended streets. In addition, the City does not have house - numbering maps. House -numbering maps are used for finding addresses and locating properties, and are a useful tool to current and prospective property owners, as well as staff when reviewing zoning cases or performing research. The Los Angeles County Mapping Division is equipped to update the City's maps, including adding any tract/parcel, lot line adjustments, and new streets that were created since 1982, as well as digitizing and updating addresses for each parcel. Thirteen maps cover the City of Rolling Hills, and the City will have to purchase a map holder to store the maps. The cost of these maps is $2,400. Currently, addresses in the City are not in the County's digital database. The most expensive item in the proposal is the digitizing of the addresses. Enclosed for your information is the scope of work and cost estimate from the Los Angeles County Mapping Division.
