Nan asked about how the Building Permit Fees are calculated.
Fees are derived from the type of building being constructed and
the square footage of that building type which determines the
Valuation. The clerks follow a formula schedule for first, a Bldg.
& Energy and H.C. Permit Fee for new building (or Building only
for an addition) plan check fee and then, when the permit is
issued, the permit fee (Exhibit A). (Many times, applicants submit
for plan check and never pull permits. There are different
deadlines and extensions permitted for buildings, but the checked
plans are udually good up to one year).
The City of Rolling Hills' fees are 2.5 times the County fees and
the chart (Exhibit B) shows examples of the first and last page of
about 50 pages.

be held on the proposed adoption of a resolution
