The session is intended to be a workshop with the Chair and Members of the Planning Commission about working together and communicating effectively in building consensus on matters before the Commission. Immediately after the session, at 6:30pm, the Planning Commission will convene its regularly scheduled meeting to discuss agendized items. The Planning Commission consists of five City Council appointed residents who serve 4 -year terms. The Commissioners have been serving on the Planning Commission ranging from eight -and -a -half years to just six months. Since Rolling Hills is a small, private community of 684 single-family residences, the Planning Commission primarily hears cases involving "site plan review." As necessary or directed, they will also consider amendments to the Municipal Code pertaining to zoning rules and regulations.
