NOISE DISTURBANCES
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a
peaceful and harmonious community, the City of Rolling
Hills kindly requests your attention to noise disturbances in
the community. Excessive or persistent noise can
significantly impact the quality of life for our neighbors.
The City has received reports about loud noises in certain
areas. We ask all residents to be mindful of their activities
that generate noise, particularly during early morning
and late evening hours. Whether it be construction work,
outdoor events, recreational activities, or other sources of
noise, your consideration for those around you is greatly
appreciated. If you are experiencing reoccurring or
overbearing noises disturbing your peace, we encourage
you to report such instances to the appropriate
authorities with any and all identifying information about
the noise such that the City can properly address the
issue. Your cooperation enables us to address noise
concerns promptly and maintain the tranquility of our
neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding and
cooperation in ensuring a serene environment for all
members of our community.

CLEARANCE INSPECTIONS BEGIN JUNE 1ST
With fire inspections upon us, beginning
June 1st, please consider completing the
following property work for Zone 1, which
extends 30 feet out from the structure.
• Remove dead or dry vegetation, leaves
and pine needles from your yard, roof, and rain gutters;
• Trim trees regularly to keep branches a minimum of 10
feet from other trees, roof and chimney;
• Relocate exposed woodpiles outside of Zone 1 unless
they are completely contained in a fire-resistant
enclosure;
• Remove vines and climbing plants from combustible
structures (e.g., bougainvillea, wisteria);
• Remove vegetation and items around and under decks
that could catch fire;
• Create separations between trees, shrubs, & items that
could catch fire, such as patio furniture, swing sets, etc.;
• Irrigation is recommended to maintain vegetation
moisture content;
Being prepared does not need to happen all at once.
Completing one small task at a time will better prepare
you and the ones you care about in an emergency.

RHCA PATROL NOW IN SERVICE
The RHCA has contracted an in-house patrol service.
Patrol GSRs go through training specific to Rolling Hills.
Understanding the streets, trail system, community, and
gate operations in case of an emergency are critical
aspects that staff are trained in for proficiency. The patrol
acts as a crime deterrent by being visible throughout the
city and will only travel on the roads, avoiding private
property. The patrol’s duties are to observe/look for
possible criminal incidents or other emergencies and
report it to the Sheriff or Fire Departments and gates.
