A MESSAGE FROM REPUBLIC SERVICES TO
THE ROLLING HILLS COMMUNITY
“Dear Rolling Hills Community,
In recent weeks, Republic Services has experienced
operational and staffing issues that have resulted in
delayed collection and an increase in missed pickups for
Rolling Hills residents. We sincerely apologize for this
inconvenience and are working to provide a resolution as
quickly as possible.
As of today, our team is fully staffed and will begin
completing locations that were missed last week, in
addition to those scheduled for service today.
We are committed to maintaining our normal collection
schedule and have taken action to do so. We are
employing experienced temporary laborers to assist our
team as we work to hire several new positions. Our
supervisors will patrol routes to assist drivers and ensure
consistent service across Rolling Hills.
In addition, we acknowledge requests form the City for
credits and other reimbursements for residents. This matter
is currently in review, with an update expected within the
week.
We would like to extend our gratitude to City staff who
have managed a high volume of emails and phone calls,
escalated issues and other items related to these service
delays. We look forward to a return to our normal, reliable
service. “
Very Sincerely,
Devin Kincaid
General Manager
