LET’S KEEP OUR TRAILS SAFE
Bicycles, motorized vehicles, and ATVs are strictly
prohibited on all RHCA bridle trails at all times. This policy
is designed to protect the safety of all trail users,
especially pedestrians and equestrians. Horses can be
easily startled, and the terrain can be hazardous, making
unexpected encounters dangerous. Please Remember:
• RHCA actively monitors trail cameras to ensure
compliance.
• Recent violations have been reported to gate
personnel and the Sheriff’s Department.
• City Ordinance 10.64.160 prohibits unauthorized motor
vehicles and bicycles on horseback riding trails,
including private trails like ours.
Let’s work together to keep our trails safe and enjoyable
for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
BEAT THE HEAT: STAY COOL!
With rising summer temperatures, it's important to stay
safe. Stay hydrated, wear loose, light-colored clothing,
and avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours. If
your home becomes too warm, consider visiting an air-
conditioned public space. Rolling Hills City Hall is open
during business hours, and nearby libraries including
Peninsula Center, Malaga Cove, and Miraleste provide
cool, comfortable environments. Taking simple
precautions during extreme heat helps protect your
health and well-being
