TENNIS COURTS ADA CONSTRUCTION AND
TEMPORARY COURT CLOSURE REMINDER
As of Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the City has started
Phase 1 construction to the Tennis Courts area to address
ADA access, grading, retaining wall, and preparation for
the RHCA’s Phase 2 which will add a new cabana and
restroom.
To ensure safety, access to all courts will be temporarily
closed during construction beginning September 3 until
further notice. City and RHCA staff will keep residents
updated on any changes as the project progresses that
may safely allow future limited access. Thank you in
advance for your understanding as we make long-lasting
upgrades to your facilities. Please call City Hall with
questions at 310-377-1521.
NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH
September is National Preparedness Month, a nationwide
campaign that encourages individuals to review your
household emergency plan, update supplies, sign up for
notification systems like Alert SouthBay, and have
discussions with loved ones about how to stay safe. By
preparing now, we can all help make Rolling Hills a safer
and more resilient community.
Here are a few simple steps you can take to be ready:
Make a plan: Talk with your household about where to
meet and how to communicate during an emergency.
Build an emergency kit: Include water, non-perishable
food, medications, flashlights, batteries, and important
documents.
Stay informed: Sign up for Alert SouthBay to receive timely
emergency alerts and updates.
Protect your home: Clear brush and debris around your
property. Keep landscaping lean and green.
ALERT SOUTH BAY – STAY IN THE KNOW
Providing residents with timely, accurate
emergency alert and warning notifications
through an integrated, standardized, cross-
jurisdictional notification platform, helps
