The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills met in person on the above date at 7:02 p.m. Mayor Dieringer
presiding.

condition of the property to be a Public Nuisance and Ordering the Abatement thereof
Presentation by Planning Technician / Code Compliance Officer Johnson.
Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Wilson to approve Resolution No. 1416 as
presented and direct staff to return with an update at the July 27 meeting. Motion carried unanimously with
the following vote:

12.A. Outdoor Emergency Siren and SAFE Unit Update; Receive and File and Provide Direction
Regarding Community Outreach for Potential Future Siren Locations

Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Mirsch to receive and file; direct staff to
hold site specific silhouette viewing opportunities for the public and provide tentative known dates for SAFE
unit soft launch events in a small area. Motion carried unanimously with the following vote:

13.A. Verbal update regarding additional handrails or guardrails at the Rolling Hills Tennis Courts

Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Wilson to receive and file and direct staff to
take no further action until the Rolling Hills Community Association completes their Cabana related
construction work. Motion carried unanimously with the following vote:

13.B. Consideration and possible action regarding acknowledgment of resident-submitted ideas for
publicly funded amenities, including requests for plaques or other forms of recognition.

Public Comment: Judith Haenel, Melissa McNabb
Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Mirsch to receive and file. Mayor Dieringer
made a friendly amendment, accepted by the motion makers, directing staff bring the matter back for
discussion if an individual expresses interest in making a significant donation to the City project that may
require revisions to current policies. Motion carried unanimously with the following vote:

14. Matters From Staff
14.A. Receive an update on Phase 1 of the Portuguese Bend Road / Rolling Hills Road 8" Sewer
Main Project
Presentation by Assistant to the City Manager / City Clerk Horvath.
Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Wilson to receive and file; table the matter
until receiving further information regarding possibility of additional funding or other funding sources via
follow up with Congressmember Lieu’s office and the USDA. Motion carried unanimously with the following
vote:
AYES: Pieper, Mirsch, Wilson, Mayor Dieringer
NOES: None

The meeting was adjourned at 9:26 p.m. on June 22, 2026. The next regular meeting of the City Council is
scheduled to be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City
Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California. It will also be available via the City’s website link at:
