The total of spoils removed equals approximately 106 cubic yds . . All of this material was moved to the back side of Portuguese Bend Road, as per Roger Vink . The guest house footings and the under area crawl space was excavated. The guest house area was 36 ' x 16 '8" x 3 ' 6" , which equals approximately 78 cubic yds . . The footings which went into bedrock , averaged 5 ' below crawl space excavations (36 ' x 36 ' x 16 '8" x 16 '8" x 2 ' wide) equals approximately 39 cubic yds . The 78 cubic yds were taken to the back side of Portuguese Bend Road ; the 39 cubic yds . were left on the job site . The swimming pool excavations (pool size 22 ' x 41 ' x 6 ' ) which equaled approximately 200 cubic yds. ; was removed of which 100 cubic yds . went to Chandlers landfill and the balance went to the back side of Portuguese Bend Road . The total amount of dirt removed and placed in Rolling Hills was 284 cubic yds . of fill . These amounts of fill dirt would have been impossible to store on the job site during the construction phase of the project . We are now in the process of rough grading and hardscaping the perimeter of the project and now need approximately 80 to 120 cubic yds of dirt back to complete the City approved landscape plan , the final back filling and sloping grades around the property for erosion control . I have a swimming pool excavation which we could use as a supplement to this for the time being if the City could approve such an import to our job site . When required by the Planning Commission or City Council, a silhouette of proposed construction should be erected for the week preceding the designated Planning Commission or City Council meeting. The Silhouette shall not remain erected for a period longer than one week unless directed by the Planning Commission or City Council. e. 2 . Silhouettes should be constructed with 2" x 4" lumber. Printed boards are not acceptable. 3 . Bracing should be provided where possible. 4 . Wire, twine or other suitable material should be used to delineate roof ridges and eaves. 5. Small pieces of cloth or flags should be attached to the wire or twine to aid in the visualization of the proposed construction. 6.
