NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills
will hold a field trip at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, to view a silhouette and
staking of a proposed project at 77 Crest Road East:
ZONING CASE NO. 876. Request for a Lot Line Adjustment, Site Plan
Review, Conditional Use Permit and a Variance to merge two existing parcels
and construct a stable with a loft and corral, and to locate the stable and corral
in the front yard area of the lot, at an existing single family residence at 77
Crest Road East, (APN 7567-008-12 and 13), Rolling Hills, CA, (Jankovich).
Project has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act, (CEQA).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review - Chapter
17.46, Variances - Chapter 17.38, Conditional Use Permit -Chapter 17.42, Lot Line
Adjustment - Chapter 16.44.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on February
17, 2015 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the project.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public
hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in
writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and
address the Planning Commission on this project, or call the Planning Department at
310 377-1521.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public meetings,
or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the
meetings.
Following the field trip the Planning Commission may continue to discuss this project at their
regular meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road.
