ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING
20. The project site has an existing single family residence and
garage which appears to have been constructed around 1950.
There was some grading on the northerly portion of the site
to accommodate the existing construction. As per Project
Reference 3215-53 of Lockwood -Singh & Associates, dated
March 22, 1985, future site development in the vicinity of
the present construction appears feasible from the soils and
geologic standpoint. (Reference, Page 7) In general, the
topography of the site slopes to the southwest.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING
21. The surrounding properties appear as follows: An existing
single family residence on the adjacent site to the north
(Lot #2), an existing single family residence to the east
of Crest Road (Lot 192-A-1), the adjacent site to the west
(Lot 4, Portuguese Bend Road) has a single family residence
as does the adjacent site to the south (Lot 9).
