setback; to exceed the maximum permitted disturbed net lot area and to place the
corral further into the rear setback than allowed on a lot that contains a condition
that any further development must be reviewed by the Planning Commission or
City Council.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.46 — Site Plan
Review, Chapter 17.38. — Variances and Chapter 17.54 -Appeals.
The above project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese

PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field
visit on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2009 at 7:30 AM to view a proposed project
at 1 Crest Road East in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 773
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Huh, 1 Crest Road East Road, (Lot 1-FT). Site Plan Review
for construction of a stable and corral, which require grading; Variance request
to construct a pool partially in the rear yard setback and to exceed the maximum
permitted disturbed net lot area, on a lot that contains a condition that any
further development must be reviewed by the Planning Commission. Project
has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality
Act.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on
October 20, 2009 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation
of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the
Planning Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size
and extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, scheduled on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, beginning at 6:30 v.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers.
