NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field
visit on TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2009 at 8:00 AM to view a proposed project at 1
Crest Road East in the following zoning case:
A. ZONING CASE NO. 712 MODIFICATION. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Huh, 1
Crest Road East, (Lot 1-FT). Request for modification to previously granted
application for a Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit for grading and
construction of a substantial addition, a pool and a guesthouse. The
modification is a request for greater quantities of grading (912 cubic yards of cut
and fill) and a Variance to exceed the maximum permitted disturbed area of the
lot (54.2%, whereas the maximum permitted is 40%). Project has been
determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on
February 17, 2009 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed
presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the
members of the Planning Commission and interested parties with the location,
topography, size and extent of the proposed modification.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, scheduled on Tuesday. March 17, 2009, beginning at 6:30 v.m. in the

The PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
