NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field
visit on Tuesday. December 15, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. to view a proposed project at 16
Crest Road West in the following zoning case:
A. ZONING CASE NO. 775. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nagelhout, 16 Crest Road
West (Lot 74-A-MS). Site Plan Review for enlargement of a porch on a lot that
contains a condition that any further development must be reviewed by the
Planning Commission, a Variance to exceed the structural lot coverage and for a
new outdoor fire place chimney to exceed the maximum 12 foot height by 4 feet, on
a lot developed with a single family residence and accessory structures. Project has
been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on
November 17, 2009 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation
of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the
Planning Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and
extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of the
previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and other
pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building located
at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission may continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular
meeting, scheduled on the evening of the field trip, Tuesday, December 15, 2009, beginning
at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
