Pursuant to Section 17.32.090 (enclosed) of the Rolling Hills
Municipal Code, this letter is to serve as official notice that a
request for Conditional Use Permits for: (1) a tennis court; and,
(2) a recreation room, at 9 Crest Road West, Lot 55-A-MS, was
reviewed by the Planning Commission at their meeting on September 20,
1988. At that meeting, the Planning Commission voted to approve the
request for Conditional Use Permits for a tennis court and recreation
room.

This is a request for a conditional use permit for a tennis court,
a conditional use permit for a recreation building and a variance to
encroach into the side yard setback.
Before the Commission considers the granting of a conditional use
permit for a tennis court and/or a recreation building, it should
consider the impact of the placement of the court and/or the
recreation building as they relate to the visibility from surrounding
properties, the percentage of building pad coverage and the
compatability of the site plan to other site developments in the
vicinity. The revised site plan may require the movement of more than
the allowed amount of soil (750 cu.yds.). If this is the case, a
variance would be required from the requirements of Section 17.16.012.
