'Please call this office if you have any questions about the variance, which applies to conversion of an existing two car garage to a third garage. The house complied with the 30' setback which was in effect when it was built, and the new garage will be within the present 50' front setback requirement. The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills reviewed the action of the Planning Commission on Monday, January 14, 1985, pursuant to Section 17.32.140 of the Municipal Code. Since no action was taken by the Council regarding the variance, the decision of the Planning Commission has been ratified by the City Council, and the encroach- ment by the residence addition, as outlined on a plan submitted for Zoning Case No. 306, is approved.
