NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field
visit on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. to view a proposed project at 60
Eastfield Drive in the following zoning case:
A. ZONING CASE NO. 781. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wolfenden, 60
Eastfield Drive. Request for modification to previously granted
application for a Site Plan Review for grading and construction of
substantial addition, pool and stable. The request for modification is for
the following:
1) Site Plan Review to retain greater than previously approved grading
condition on the lot, which resulted in greater quantities of dirt movement
than originally approved and enlarged residential building pad; 2)
Variance for as graded condition to exceed the maximum permitted
disturbed area of the lot; 3) Variance to permit "as built" retaining wall to
remain in the side setback and to retain several rock walls in setbacks.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on May 18,
2010 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation of the proposal.
The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of the
previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and other
pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building located
at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will adjourn this case to their regular meeting on Tuesday, June
15, 2010, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
