Dear Mr. Kondo:
A copy of the recorded Affidavit of Acceptance form signed by
Herbert and Merilyn Atkinson, owners of Lot 0-EF, located at 0
Eastfield Drive, Rolling Hills, is enclosed. The affidavit is
required in connection with approval of a request for a Variance of
front yard setback requirements for construction of a residence
addition, per Zoning Case No. 354.
Also enclosed is a copy of the Findings and Report, prepared
pursuant to the action by the Planning Commission. The Findings and
Report and the recorded Affidavit of Acceptance are to be retained in
your file on the property. When the final plan has been signed by
the City Manager or the Deputy City Clerk, you are authorized to
issue the building permit.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson:
This letter is to serve as official notice, pursuant to Section
17.32.090 of the Rolling Hills Municipal Code, that a request
for a Variance from front yard setback requirements for the purpose
of constructing an addition to the existing residence on Lot 0-EF,
commonly known as 0 Eastfield Drive, was presented to the City
Council at their meeting on Monday, March 14, 1988. The Council
voted to ratify the Planning Commission's approval of the request
at their meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 1988.
A copy of the Findings and Report for Zoning Case No. 354
is enclosed for your information. An acceptance form, as required
by Ordinance No. 207, is also enclosed. Please complete the form,
have the signature(s) notarized, and forward the document to the
Office of the County Recorder, Room 15, 227 North Broadway, Los
Angeles, California 90012, with a check in the amount of $7.00.
When the Affidavit of Acceptance has been returned to the City,
duly executed and recorded, the Los Angeles County Department
of Building and Safety will be notified that a permit can be issued.

This letter is to serve as official notice, pursuant to Section
17.32.090 of the Rolling Hills Municipal Code, that your request
for a variance to encroach into the established front yard to
construct a residential addition, was approved by the Planning
Commission at their meeting on Tuesday, February 16-, 1988,-subject_
to- the .following conditions: that a landscape plan be submitted
-and' approved, per City-polidy_; -that -.the- variance be- contigent
upon approval by the RHCA Architectural Review Committee -of the
architectural plans; and, that there exist physical conditions
which proscribe the ability to improve the present residence without
the granting of the variance.
A formal report of the Commission's action will be recorded
in the minutes of the proceedings before the Planning Commission,
and will be ,made available to you after approval by the Commission.
The Planning Commission's decision will be reported to the
City Council, as required by the Municipal Code, Section 17.32.090,
at their next regular meeting on Monday, March 14, 1988, pursuant
to the requirements of the Municipal Code, Section 17.32.140.
