PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling
Hills will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA for the purpose of
receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 578, Consideration of a request to reestablish and continue a
Conditional Use Permit that permits portions of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified
School District Crest Road property used for a maintenance and warehouse facility
to continue to be used by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority for
administrative uses and the storage parking of up to 14 vans at the school district
property at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, CA (±31.14 acre western portion of Lot
74-MS). Service will not be increased.
A Negative Declaration for the original project was prepared in accordance with the
California Environmental Quality Act and adopted by the Planning Commission o n
June 18, 1996. Planning staff finds that the project as presented by this application is
within the scope of the previously adopted Negative Declaration. Planning staff
further finds that the project will not have any new or substantially greater
environmental impacts than considered in the original Negative Declaration.
Any person is welcome to review the subject zoning case file and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA 90274 (310) 377-1521).
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described
in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission
at, or prior to, the public hearing.
