Conditional Use Permit request to convert an existing stable to a guesthouse and a Variance request to allow the proposed guesthouse to remain in the front yard area and encroach into the side yard setback, at an existing single family residence 3 Johns Canyon Road, Rolling Hills, CA. A public hearing on subject zoning case was held by the City Council on January 28, 2002 at which time the Council heard a detailed presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Council and interested parties with the site, topography, size and placement of the proposed project. Although plans will be available at the site, detailed review of the project is not anticipated, as this case was first introduced to the City Council on January 28, 2002. The City Council will not make a decision on this case during the field trip. Any person is welcome to attend this field trip. You are urged to review the application, plans and minutes of the previous City Council meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. Additional public hearing regarding Zoning Case No. 643 will be held by the City Council at a later date. The date of the next public hearing to consider this matter will be announced at the field trip. Please reserve this date, as no other notices pertaining to this case will be forthcoming.
