NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field visit
on TUESDAY, TANUARY 18, 2011 at 7:30 AM to view a proposed project at 29
Middleridge Lane South in the following zoning case:
A. ZONING CASE NO. 797. Request for a Site Plan Review and
Conditional Use Permit to construct a stable with a loft and corral and a Variance to
allow the stable and corral to encroach into the front yard setback on a property
developed with a single family residence, at 29 Middleridge Lane South, (Lot 248-A-1-
UR), (Johnson). Project has been determined to be exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA).
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on December
21, 2010 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of the
previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and other
pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building located at
2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular
meeting, scheduled on Tuesday, January 18, beginning at 6:30 v.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers.
