CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION will conduct a
public hearing and a site visit on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 4:50 PM at 12
EASTFIELD DRIVE to view a proposed project and to receive public input
regarding the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 761. Request for a Minor Variance to permit a
portion of an addition to encroach 2-feet into the side yard setback at an
existing single family residence at 12 Eastfield Drive (Lot 65-A-EF),
Rolling Hills, CA. (Itoh).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.38 — Variances.
The project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the
meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public
hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission will continue the public hearing to their regular meeting,
scheduled to be held on the evening of the field trip, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 beginning
at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
