88, Addition of a laundry room, Resolutions & Approval ConditionsBEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Application of Dr. David Hubbell Lot 29 GF ZONING CASE NO. 88 FINDING AND FORMAL REPORT The application of Dr. David Hubbell, Lot 290F, Georgeff Tract, for a variance of side yard requirements under Article III, Section, 3.07 of Ordinance No. 33 came on for hearing on the 17th. of July, ' 1969 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. at the Administration. Building of the City of Rolling Hills, California and the applicant, having submitted evidence in, support of his application, the Planning Commission, being advised, now makes its Findings and Formal Report as required. by the Ordinances of the City of Rolling Hills, California. 10 The Commission finds that the applicant, Dr. David Hubbell, is theowner of that certain real property described as Lot 29GF, Georgeff Tract, located in the City of Rolling Hills, California, and that notice -of the public'hearing in connection with said. application was given as required by -Sections 8.06 and 8.07 of Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Rolling Hills, California. - The Commission further finds that no person appeared at said .public hearing in opposition to the application for a variance, and that no evidence was received by the Commission in opposition thereto. 1110 The Commission further finds that in order to build a house Of a'Suitable size on view lot, the service yard must project 8' into the side yard; to move the house to allow for the service yard adjacent -to the house without projecting into the 20' side yard would result in. loss of the.view, and to locate it further to the rear -of the property would result :in having. it nearer to the residence on the adjoining property, and further finds that by reason of the terrain of said Lot 29GF Georgeff Tract, a variance of 8° of side yard requirements should be granted to applicant in order to preserve substantial property rights possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and that the granting of such variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare nor injurious to property in the same vicinity and zone. IV. From the foregoing it is concluded that variance should be granted by the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills to Dr, David Hubbell, Lot 29GF, Georgeff Tract, in accordance with the plot plan marked Exhibit 1 on file in these proceedings, and it is, therefore, so ordered.
