779, Extension modification to comm, CorrespondenceBolton Engineering C rp. December 12, 2014 Yolanta Schwartz Planning Director City of Rolling Hills DEC 12 201/,} 3 Meadowlark Grading Status City of Rolling Hills By Yolanta, The grading and drainage improvements at 3 Meadowlark Lane in Rolling Hills were approved as a single plan and permit; however the construction has taken place in three separate stages. The grading and drainage for the main residence is completed and Bolton Engineering is satisfied with all of the devices installed on said pad. Additionally, the installation of the jute mesh over the 2:1 manufactured slopes will help to prevent any erosion until future slope planting can be completed. However, there are remaining items still needing further work on the pool pad and stable pad. For the pool pad the slope between the pool wall and stable is still being completed and then will require the installation of the jute mesh for erosion purpose. There is also flat work being installed adjacent to the pool which will require the drainage devices to be adjusted. As for the stable pad, there is a rubble wall that needs to be constructed at the stable. The drainage devices have all been installed on these pads but due to the outstanding issues Bolton Engineering cannot sign off on the Final Grading Certification. Bolton Engineering takes no exception to the grading and drainage improvements at the main residence; and will continue working closely with Greg Keenan to bring the final items into compliance. If you have questions on any of these items please don't hesitate to contact me.
