The Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 5:30 PM to view an outline of a proposed
project at 9 Maverick Lane in the following case:
ZONING CASE NO. 621, MODIFICATION a request for modification to a
previously approved Site Plan and Variances to relocate a previously approved
retaining wall further away from the property lines and to construct an
additional retaining wall, not to exceed 4-foot in height, which would encroach
into the westerly side yard setback and to further exceed the coverage of the
front yard area with a driveway, at a single family residence, which is currently
under construction, at 9 Maverick Lane (Lot 27-SK), Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on May
20, 2003, at which time the Commission heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Commission and
interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the proposed
project. Although plans will be available at the site, detailed review of the project
is not anticipated.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip. However, due to time constraint
during the field visit, extensive testimony and comments will be considered at
the regular Planning Commission public hearing, described below. You are
urged to review the application, plans and minutes of the 5/20/03 Planning
Commission meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will hold an additional meeting regarding Zoning
Case No. 664 on Tuesday, Tune 17, 2003 at 7:30 PM., at City Hall. Please reserve
this date.
