Hills, CA at 6:30 PM on Monday, June 24, 2013 the purpose of receiving public
input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 830. Mr. and Mrs. Tsern-Shi Chang, 6
Portuguese Bend Road, (Lot 22-RH), Rolling Hills, CA. Request for a Site
Plan Review for grading of total of 340 cubic yards of cut and fill to be
balanced on site for the construction of a new 4,527 square foot residence
with 1,007 square foot attached garage, 479 square feet covered porches,
and a service yard. The applicants also seek a Variance to allow the new
residence to encroach 20-feet into the front yard setback. The project has
been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.46 — Site Plan
Review and Chapter 16.38 - Variances
The project was approved by the Planning Commission and was taken under the
jurisdiction of the City Council on June 10, 2013.

Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your

The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on November
20, 2012 at which time the Commissioners, heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the project.
Any person is welcome to review the subject applications and plans prior to the public
hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing to
the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and address the
Planning Commission on this project.
