PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a Public
Hearing at the site on TUESDAY. March 20. 2012 at 7:30 a.m. to view a proposed
project at 13 Portuguese Bend Road in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 813. Mr. and Mrs. Sean Cardenas, 13 Portuguese Bend Road,
(Lot 77-RH). A request for a Conditional Use Permits (CUP) to construct an 1,213
square foot detached garage, to replace an existing 778 square foot detached garage,
on a lot developed with a single family residence and accessory structures. Project
has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.42. - Conditional
Use Permit.
The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony. We
urge you to review the application and plans on subject application prior to the site
visit. These and other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall
Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public
hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission may continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular
meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2012, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
