SUBJECT: ZONING CASE NO. 340 - HANSEN (41 EASTFIELD DR.)
'RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning Commission approved Zoning Case No. 340 which grants
a variance to encroach into the established front yard, for the purpose of
constructing a swimming pool/spa, at 41 Eastfield Dr. It is recommended
that the City Council acknowledge and accept the Planning Commission
action.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. James Hansen applied for a variance to allow for the
encroachment of a swimming pool/spa into the established front yard, at 41
Eastfield Dr. Currently, the front yard is 94 feet. The applicant has
requested an encroachment of 26 feet, which would leave a 68 foot front
yard.
The Planning Commission's Findings and Report sets forth the
conditions of approval of the variance application. Zoning Case No. 340
was approved unanimously, by the Commission.
