NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS

The PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 7:30 a.m. to view a proposed
project at 40 Eastfield Drive in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 716
Mr. Nicholas Tonsich, 40 Eastfield Drive, (Lot 91-EF). Site Plan Review for
grading and construction of retaining walls in order to meet slope stability
requirements and a Variance to exceed the maximum permitted disturbed
area of the lot at a property where an approval was previously granted for
grading and construction of an addition to an existing residence, a guest
house, a detached garage and a future stable.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on
October 18, 2005, at which time the Planning Commission heard a detailed
presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the
Commissioners and interested parties with the location, topography, size and
extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, which will be held on the same day as the field trip, Tuesday, November
15, 2005, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Rolling Hills will hold a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2005
in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA
for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:

Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to
the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
