NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling
Hills will hold a Public Hearing in the field at a property at 46 Eastfield, on
Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 7:30 a.m., to view the silhouette of a proposed
development in the following Zoning Case:
ZONING CASE NO. 898. Request for a Site Plan Review to construct an 1,835
square foot addition and a raised deck, and a Variance to encroach with 150 square
foot of the addition 10 feet into the front yard setback and to exceed the maximum
permitted disturbed area of the lot (42.20%) at 46 Eastfield, (Lot 97-EF), Rolling Hills,
CA (Miller).
The project has been determined to be categorically exempt (Class 3) pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15303 (New
construction of small structures) as it proposes a single family residence.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapters 17.38 - Variances
and 17.46 - Site Plan Review.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
meeting at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in
writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and
address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public
hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Following the field trip the Planning Commission will continue to discuss this project at
