February 21,
Dear Ms. Cunningham:
FEB 21 1984
,;ITY OF ROLLINd LLS
With reference to your letter of Feb.'4±5 r--19.8.4,-- ........
please please be advised that:
1. The "kitchen" facilities in our guest house (cabana)
are in accordance with the plans approved by the City
of Rolling Hills. Please consult them:
2. The landscaping has been done precisely as per demanded
by the Landscape Committee. Your abusive letter is the
first mention of requirement for additional screening.
3., The landscaping already has been approved de facto by
the City of Roiling Hills with the return of one half
of our deposit, and by, your letter of July 1983 requiring
additional time to allow for further growth of present
plants, prior to return of the balance. We request that
you return that balance at this time:
4. Please be advised that we have attempted to cooperate with
the City and the Association throughout our 12 plus years
residence in Rolling Hills, but the abusive tone of your
letter leads me to advise you that we will defend with
vigor our personal and territorial integrity.
CLII1v/I
Sincerely,
Dr. and Mrs. Richard Spellberg

Re: Zoning Cases 226 & 228
Our records indicate that the minutes and findings for
your zoning cases were sent to you in November. Since we
have not received your written statement indicating that
you agree with and accept the conditions of approval, I am
sending you duplicates, and a new form which we started to
use at the beginning of this year.
Please complete one copy and return it for our files
if, you agree to accept the conditions stated.

Dear Board of Directors:
We understand that our next door neighbors,
Carol and Dick Spellberg, are planning to build
a Tennis Court on their upper level.
We think it is a great idearland we are
supportive of their plans. The area is an ideal
place for a tennis court and most unobtrusive.
Everyone should have neighbors like the
Spellbergs....we are very fortunate.
Sincerely,
