The subject property is located at 2 Chuckwagon Road (Lot 38-A/39-B-EF) Rolling Hills, CA, (Galvin/Kirmse). The project has been determined to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines. APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Conditional Use Permit - Chapter 17.42, and Variance - Chapter 17.38. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on October 23, 2018 at which time the Commissioners heard detailed presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the project. Any person is welcome to review the subject applications and plans prior to the public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project. If you challenge the approval or denial of these permit applications in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
