The PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on TUESDAY, October 17, 2006 at 5:30 PM to view a proposed
project at 22 Middleridge Lane N. in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 732
Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Chelf, 22 Middleridge Lane North, (Lot 1-MR).
Request for a Site Plan review for grading and construction of a new
single family residence to replace an existing residence; request for
Variances to encroach with the new residence into the front setback; to
exceed the maximum permitted structural lot coverage, to exceed the
maximum permitted total lot coverage and to exceed the maximum
permitted disturbed area of the lot.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on
September 19, 2006, at which time the Planning Commission heard a detailed
presentation of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the
Commissioners and interested parties with the location, topography, size and
extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, which will be held on the same night as the field trip, Tuesday, October
17, 2006, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
