Mr. James Barnard

Dear Mr. Barnard:
I am sorry not to have had more of a chance
to speak with you at the Main Gate yesterday. The
Architectural Committee has approved your flagpole
provided it is only 30 feet high and is used for
flag purposes. A building permit will be ready on
that basis at the office.
If you consider that the foundation level of
the pole being so far below the road level is a
factor, you might make a re.submission to the
Architectural Committee.

Dear Mr. Barnard:
The Architectural Committee of the
Rolling Hills Community Association have asked me to
write to you in connection with the exterior balcony
which appears on the north elevation of your house.
According to the plans and specifications,
as approved by the Architectural Committee, this balcony
was to be eliminated from the plans and the building per-
mit which was issued to you on, May 5, 1955 was issued
upon the condition that when the house was constructed
the balcony was to be eliminated therefrom.
It will be necessary, therefore, that you
remove this balcony from your house in order to bring
your property into conformity with the Basic Restric-
tions placed upon the property and, also, in conformity
with your plans and specifications as submitted to the
Architectural Committee.
Please let me hear from you in this
regard as to when we may expect the removal of this
balcony.
Yours very truly,
MASON, KINLEY and WALLACE

you that the above numbered property is in .violation
of the Basic Deed Restrictions in force against this

Myers, the Association manager, that you have pre-
viously agreed to paint this property white and place
it in conformity with the Deed Restrictions as soon as
the wet weather had passed.

Gentlemen:
We would like permission to use the easement between
our two pieces of property. It could never be used as a
trail for it only runs about a block and then drops into a
very deep canyon which is not accessible to man or beast.
Should some rider try to use it, it would be disastrous.
Very truly yours,

Gentlemen:
(s‘
I understand you have one request to make in the granting
of the Completion Notice on my property.
My understanding is that I will repaint within six months.
I will be very glad to comply with this request, but I would
like to ask that, should the rainy season not be over by that
time that I can wait until the rains are over. However, I
may be able to paint before the rains start.
Trusting this meets with your wishes, I remain
