Subject: Zoning Case No. 324
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lyons:
A letter was sent to you on January 30, 1986 advising of the
Planning Commission's approval of a Variance of front yard setback
requirements on Lot 49-EF for conversion of an existing patio on
your residence located at 21 Eastfield Drive to a breakfast nook.
The Planning Commission's action was reported to the City Council
at a regular meeting on February 10, 1986, pursuant to Section
17.32.140 of the Municipal Code. Since no action was taken by
the Council regarding the approval, the decision of the Planning
Commission has been ratified by the City Council, and the Variance
for the residence addition as shown on a plan submitted for Zoning
Case No. 324, .and in accordance with conditions of approval which
were sent to you, is approved.
An acceptance form, as required by Ordinance No. 207, is enclosed.
Please complete the form, have the signature(s) notarized, andforward
it to the County Recorder's office, Room 15, 227 North Broadway, Los
Angeles, CA 90012, with a check in the amount of $7.00. When the
Affidavit of Acceptance, duly executed and recorded, has been returned
to the City, the Los Angeles County Department of Building and Safety
will be notified that a permit can be issued.

recommended by the Planning Staff. A copy of the conditions is
enclosed for your information. This notice shall serve as a copy
of the Planning Commission's decision. A full report of the Commis-
sion's action, as required by the Municipal Code, will be contained
in the minutes of the meeting.
The Planning Commission's decision will be reported to the City
Council at their regular meeting on Monday, February 10, 1986 at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, pursuant to Section
