PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills
will hold a Public Hearing and a field trip on Thursday , Avril 21, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. at
16 Pine Tree Lane in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 801 Revised. Dr. and Mrs. Juma Bharadia, 16 Pine Tree
Lane (Lot 81-1-RH), Rolling Hills, CA. Request for a Conditional Use Permit to
construct a tennis court; request for a Site Plan Review for grading for the tennis
court; request for Variances to exceed the maximum permitted total cut and fill
of 750 cubic yards of dirt and to grade greater than 10,000 square foot area for
the tennis court; and request for a Variance to encroach with residential addition
into the side yard setback, where the existing residence already partially
encroaches into said setback.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case request for the
tennis court on March 15, 2011 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed
presentation of the proposal. The application is being amended to request a Variance
for the addition. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the
Planning Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and
extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony. We urge
you to review the application, plans and minutes of the previous meeting on subject
application prior to the site visit. These and other pertinent documents are available in
the Planning Department at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2
Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission may take action on the case in the field or may continue to discuss
and deliberate this case at their regular meeting, scheduled on Thursday, Avril 21, beginning at
6:30 v.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
