PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Rolling Hills will hold a Public Hearing at approximately 9:45 AM on Tuesday,
April 15, 2014 at the property at 6 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA for
the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 853. Request for a Site Plan Review for grading
and Conditional Use Permit to construct a 450 square foot stable with 550
square foot corral; and request for a Variance to construct a not to exceed
3' high wall along the building pad in the front setback to reduce the
disturbance of the lot at 6 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA, Lot
22-RH, (Chang). The project has been determined to be categorically
exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The Planning Commission's schedule is to visit four other properties beginning at
7:30 a.m. before visiting this site. Therefore, the exact time of this meeting cannot
be established.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.46 — Site Plan
Review, 17.38 — Variances and Chapter 17.42 — Conditional Use Permit.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to
the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission may continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular
meeting, scheduled on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
