64, To reduce back yard setback t, Resolutions & Approval ConditionsBEFORE THE.PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS_ COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Application of JOHN.S. WALLACE Lot 22, Sunny Knolls Tract RS 31/32 Zoning Case No. 64 FINDINGS AND FORMAL REPORT The application of Mr. John S. Wallace, Lot 22, Sunny Knolls Tract, for a side yard variance, came on for hearing on, the 24th day of May, 1966 at the hour of 8:00 P.M., at the City Hall of the City of Rolling Hills, California, and the applicants having submitted evidence in support of their application, the Planning Commission, being advised, now makes its Findings and Formal Report as required by the ordinances of the City of Rolling Hills, California. 10 The Commission finds that the applicant, Mr, John S. Wallace, is the owner of that certain real property described as Lot 22, Sunny Knolls Tract, located in the City of Rolling Hills, California, and that notice of the public hearing in connection with said application was given as required by Sections 8.06 and 8.07 of Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Rolling Hills, California. 110 The Commission further finds that no person appeared at said public hearing in opposition to the application for a variance and that no evidence was received by th- Cission in opposition thereco. The Commission further -finds that .the. propoSe4-itable of applicadt is to be located fifteen (15) feet from the West property • • line of said Lot,,22 instead of thirty-five (35) feet as required by said Zoning Ordinance, and further finds that the variance should be granted to applicants in order to preserve substantial property rights possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and that the granting of such variance will not be materially detri- mental to the public welfare or injurious to property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which applicant's property is located. Iv. From the foregoing it is concluded that a variance should be granted by the Planning, Commission of the City of Rolling Hills to Mr. John D. Wallace of Lot 22, Sunny Knolls Tract, in accordance wiLth the plot plan marked Exhibit I on file in these proceedings and it is therefore so ordered. Dated: June 10, 1966.
