Dear Mr. Murphy:
As owner of Lot 9 Georgeff, at 6 E1 Concho Lane, in the
City of Rolling Hills, I request a variance for the placement of my
residence on my lot, as indicated in the plans submitted to the City
Building Department in Lomita.
My architect considers that the configuration of the lot to-
pography really requires the shortening of the front yard set -back,
as indicated.
We represent that the configuration of the lot, apparent
from the contour lines,, constitutes anexceptional condition not gen-
erally found in surrounding lots in this vicinity. We also claim that
the shortening, of the front set back is necessary to permit the build-
ing of the house on this peculiar lot ,in order to have proper use of
the property.
The attached list of names is submitted in accordance with
the requirements of the ordinance.
We consider that the spirit of the ordinance in this particu-
lar instance is not violated, and that no injustice will be done any of
the neighboring properties if this variance is granted.
My architect and I will be glad to attend the meeting of the
Planning Commission,if our presence is desired.
